I moved to the Netherlands for my job in January - I work as a translator for an international travel company - and am temporarily living in a shared apartment. Since the landlord will sell the house and my rental contract ends at the end of April, I'm looking for a new home starting from mid-April/beginning of May. My office is located in Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a quiet (studio) apartment or a quiet room in a shared apartment close to a train/tram station or bus stop with good connections to "Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena". However, since I work partly from home, a commute of up to an hour is fine to me, and I'm open to accommodation outside of Amsterdam if I can reach the office within a reasonable time. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.). If you offer a room in a shared apartment, please additionally note: I have lived in various shared apartments before and can accommodate to different kind of roommates easily. I'm a nice, quiet (but sociable), tidy and reliable person. I'm respectful towards my roommates' needs, and will always treat shared spaces and your privacy with care.

Hello everyone, I am Paul, a friendly and quiet 33 year old software developer from Scotland looking to find a studio/room to rent. The rental period would roughly be for 6 months. Currently I'm in the process of moving to the Netherlands and this will be my initial base whilst I look for a home to rent. My employer is based within Amsterdam and so I would ideally prefer to find a suitable studio or room within a commutable distance so I would ideally like to find a place within Holland, but I am open to commuting futher. I am looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam for the next two years with my friend Tonia. She is a 27 years old girl, coming from Greece doing her Masters in Human Resource Management. Ideally, we are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 registrations, so your apartment type fits perfectly our expectations. We are also currently living in Amstelveen, on the Uilenstede campus, so we already know the area of Amstelveen and we love it! Some things about us: I am looking for a full-time job and Tonia is currently doing her paid internship at COFRA Holding AG. Nevertheless, keep in mind that all of our families are well equipped with a budget in order to help us cover our bills and housing responsibilities to the fullest! Since we are coming from sunny Greece we bring with us the warmth and the positive attitude of our beautiful country!:) We are very clean and tidy people, we adore the city vibe and we would love to have our own apartment to look after :) Also, FYI we don't own any pets! We both speak Greek and English, and both of us are looking forward to learn Dutch since we plan to stay in the Netherlands for the years to come.

Hello :) I am looking for a room/studio to move in as soon as possible, since the contract of my current accommodation is about to expire. I have been living in Utrecht 3 years now. I arrived as a student doing my masters here, Business and Social Impact and now I am working as an Accounting Administrator at Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Contract can be indicated if required. I will start with the cliches that I am a tidy and clean person (indeed) and a big fan of having always a clean toilet - even when the whole house is a bit disorganized. My day usually starts with working, then chilling at home and then go out for a beer with friends, watch movies/documentaries or trashy reality shows (it can happen to everyone), go to gigs, explore. Although 28 years old, sometimes 73 in soul. I also enjoy going for bouldering and every Friday I am volunteering in refugee camps, playing with teenagers. heyy, my name is Sebastian. I am a 19 year old German looking for accommodation in Amsterdam starting in September, since I will attend to the VU Amsterdam for my PPE Bachelor studies. Currently I am absolving a voluntary social year in Philadelphia, USA. During this year I am living together with 2 other German volunteers in our own apartment. Therefore, I would describe myself as an already experienced and responsible tenant. I would claim that I am a really tidy and neat person always looking after the tidiness of the apartment. I love living with other people as I am a really outgoing person but at the same time know how important it is to respect boundaries of ones roommates. My budget is up to 900€ as I will work part time during my studies and will be financially supported by my family. I look for a place to stay as early as August/September but would also be open to rent an apartment earlier.
